A Whale Shark Smile – Photo of the Day
We don’t post nearly enough photos of whale sharks here, so to fix that we have a whale shark smile! This photo was taken in the beautiful Cendrawasih Bay area of the Papua Province of Indonesia. This is one of the premier areas of the world to interact with these largest of fish. The whale sharks are consistently found in the bay throughout the year. As this is not an easy place to get to, there are not many divers who visit the area. If you are into adventure, then think about visiting Cendrawasih Bay in the future and you may just witness a whale shark smile.
