Bali August 2018 Group Diving Safari

We have just hosted a group of 15 scuba divers and 7 non divers from South African for a Diving Safari around Bali.

Day 1

On arrival day, the group arrived in Bali in the morning from Singapore.

We had lunch and a welcome briefing in one of our favorite restaurants in Sanur, before we headed up to North West Bali. The guests and team spent the first 3 nights of the itinerary in the wonderful town of Pemuteran.

Once we arrived, we collected all the dive gear from the guests to organize for the following day.

Day 2

We went out for 2 boat dives to Menjangan island.

The weather was perfect for the start of our dive safari with calm, clear water. We enjoyed two great wall dives.

In the afternoon, we picked up the guests from the resort and hiked to the top of a nearby hill overlooking the bay. What a great way to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Day 7

3 speedboats headed to Nusa Penida on the search for manta rays and sunfish.

We had a great manta ray dive but only one diver was lucky enough to encounter a Mola.

Day 8

The last day of diving, we went back to Nusa Penida for another crack at finding the Molas. Luckily today we had great Mola luck. One of the groups was lucky enough to have one patient mola with them for the entire dive with no other groups around!

In the late afternoon, we headed to Uluwatu Temple to see the beautiful temple, the panoramic view, and the Kecak Dance at sunset. To end this fabulous trip, we had a farewell dinner in Jimbaran with all 22 guests and the entire dive team from the Underwater Tribe.

What a lovely way to finish the trip!
