Interested in scuba diving but haven’t had the time to try it yet?  Why not try it out in one of the best places in the world for diving, Bali!  The Underwater Tribe is a full PADI Dive Centre offering a range of PADI dive courses throughout the year.  The entry level course for those new to diving is called the Open Water Diver class which introduces prospective divers to the wonders of the underwater world.  We are firm believers in conducting the PADI Open Water Course through a combination of Online e-Learning and practical skills.  As many people don’t want to waste valuable holiday time reading a book, PADI has a great online course for all the theory that can be completed at home.  That way, once you arrive in Bali it’s time to hit the water!  Our instructors will do a brief review of the theory and practical skills with you before jumping in the pool to start learning valuable skills.  After mastering the new skills in the pool, it’s then time to enter the ocean to see the beautiful marine environment that Bali offers.  Over 3 days you will complete 4 or 5 pool sessions and 4 dives in the ocean with one of our instructors to gain confidence and skills underwater.  One of the key things that we stress is making sure our students learn the skills the right way, we will work one to one with all  of our participants in order to make sure they are comfortable and safe in the water, even if we have to add another day of practice.

We offer these classes in Sanur, Tulamben, and Amed and can easily create a dive and stay package including hotel and transfers.  We keep our number of participants in one class low in order to give as much personal instruction as possible for everyone’s enjoyment.  When the course is over it’s a great way to see even more of Bali’s iconic sites including a visit to the famous Manta Point where manta rays cavort in the shallows.

If you are interested in doing the Open Water course in Bali or even a “try dive” (known as a Discover Scuba Dive) then please send us an email and we can start working on it today!  Or simply click on this link and head straight to our e Learning page and sign up today! eLearning Open Water Course with the Underwater Tribe
