Underwater Tribe NAD Lembeh Photo Workshop 2019

Photo Workshop 2019

2018 Workshop Attendees

Lembeh Strait Photo Workshop 2019 – We are happy to announce our 7th annual Underwater Tribe/NAD Lembeh Photo Workshop with Special Guest Doug Sloss of Underwater Lightroom. This 7 night/17 dive package is set for 27 July – 3 August 2019 in the exciting Lembeh Strait.  The package includes 17 nitrox tanks, return airport transfers, full meal package, 2:1 guest to guide ratio, digital copies of all outlines, and photo tuition.

We limit the number of participants during workshops in order to give plenty of one to one time to everyone. One of the highlights of an Underwater Tribe workshop is that the instructors don’t take cameras underwater. Each photo instructor accompanies the students underwater each day with a slate in hand. One to one time underwater is often touted as the highlight of the workshop by past participants.

What Will You Learn in our Lembeh Photo Workshop 2019?

Photo Workshop 2019

Ladies Night Night Dives

Our workshops are aimed at everyone who wants to improve their photography. We always start with the basics so brand new photographers are immediately on the right path. We also take advantage of NAD’s spacious layout as we often present two lectures at the same time. This allows us to split the groups between beginners and advanced photographers. The participants can choose which ones to attend to learn the information relative to their goals.

Subjects we present throughout the week include: basic strobe positioning, creative light, limited depth of field, night and black water shooting, snooting, the basics of underwater video, composition and more! With Doug Sloss on hand, he presents daily Lightroom and Photoshop techniques to improve everyone’s post processing skills.

Should I Join This Photo Workshop?

Our workshops are for everyone! Each year we have a mix of brand new photographers and people who have been shooting for years. With three coaches on hand, we are able to customize the learning experience for everyone. We work individually with each participant underwater in order to master new skills.  The friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the week is full of laughter and new friends. We have many repeat guests who return year after year to join us in Lembeh.

NAD Lembeh Resort

A presentation in the camera room Photo Workshop 2019NAD Lembeh Resort is one of the top resorts in Indonesia and continues to improve their product every year. In 2018, NAD remodelled and expanded their camera room. What improvements can we expect next year!

The entire staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the resort. One of the best aspects of diving with NAD is the maximum ratio of 2 divers for every dive guide. This is a great addition as underwater photographers are always on the lookout for hard to spot critters.
