Tulamben and Amed in NE Bali offer a great mix of coral reef and black sand dives as well as the world famous Liberty Wreck. Seraya is home to some of the best critter dives that Bali has to offer with many rare and colourful nudibranchs to be found. Padang Bai is another under rated macro destination in Bali and we can often find several species of octopus here as well as the elusive Rhinopias!
In Nusa Penida we will be heading out in search of the famous Mantas of Manta Point (weather permitting) and as an added bonus, this is the best time of year to spot giant Mola mola in waters around the island.
Water temperatures in Tulamben, Seraya, and Amed are typically 27-29 C or 79 – 84F at this time of year. Temperatures in Padang Bai and Nusa Penida can be from 19 – 24 C or 60 – 70 F, please bring proper thermal protection
As with any Underwater Tribe trip, we will have a maximum of 4 divers to 1 dive guide as well as a bus and driver for the group.
Underwater Tribe group trips are always led by either Mike Veitch or Luca Vaime and sometimes both of us!
