The Eye of the Cuttlefish

Cuttlefish are some of the most amazing creatures in the ocean.  These alien like cephalopods have the ability to not only change the colour of their skin, but the texture as well.  However, one of the most incredible features of these animals is their eye.  The eye of a cuttlefish are very well developed and they have outstanding sight.  Although they can’t see colour, they see through contrast instead.  The eyes of cephalopods are often used as the inspiration for alien beings in science fiction.
