Daily Photo Reptilian Snake Eel
At first glance this may seem like a brightly colored rock, a very red rock. The bright red colors look attractive at first until you figure out what you are looking at. This is one ugly looking snake eel! The first time I spotted one of these eels I was shocked to see how evil looking it was. These ambush predators are able to remain so still they are hard to find. Their preferred environment is burying themselves amongst large rocks that camouflage them. Can you spot the eye?
