We are happy to announce our 13th Annual Lembeh Photo Workshop 2026! Our 2025 event was a fantastic success with wonderful weather and all the amazing critters that makes Lembeh great. You can read more about it at the Lembeh 2025 Trip Report. Our exciting 2026 Photo Workshop will take place from 24th July – 1 August 2026, with an 8 night/20 dive package. Our hosts for the event is the wonderful NAD Lembeh Resort with their amazing team. The package includes all meals, nitrox (air available), return airport transfers (surcharge for non peak hours), 2:1 guest to guide ratio, in water tuition, and digital copies of outlines.
We limit the number of participants during workshops in order to give plenty of one to one time to everyone. One of the highlights of an Underwater Tribe/Studio Sloss workshop is that the instructors don’t take cameras underwater. Our photo instructors accompany the students underwater with a slate in hand. One to one time underwater is often touted as the highlight of the workshop by past participants.
One of the most common comments we receive is: “I am not advanced enough in my skills to attend a workshop.” However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Our NAD Lembeh Workshops are specifically aimed at new underwater photographers along with including other techniques for more the more experienced. We always start with the basics to get everyone on the same page before introducing other techniques. Our workshops are relaxed and friendly with a very social atmosphere. We don’t include competitions so there is no pressure on our guests. Everyone loves the “one to one” evening sessions with the instructors as this allows everyone to dig into the photos of the day and perfect their Lightroom skills. Lightroom and post processing is one of the most important parts of our workshops with several presentations throughout the week.
Although minor tweaks may occur the schedule for the NAD Lembeh Workshop 2026 will be as follows:
24 July – final arrivals and introductory welcome and slideshow. No presentations on this day
25 – 30 July – 2 morning dives, presentation after lunch, afternoon dive, 5-7pm presentations and office hours (options for night dives)
31 July – 2 morning dives, no afternoon dive included on this day unless individually booked, BBQ and final slideshow
1 August – Departure Day
Our workshops are for everyone! Each year we have a mix of brand new photographers and people who have been shooting for years. With multiple coaches on hand, we are able to customize the learning experience for everyone. We work individually with each participant underwater in order to master new skills. The coaches don’t dive with cameras during the workshop. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the week is full of laughter and new friends. We have many repeat guests who return year after year to join us in Lembeh.

As per years past we will once again be at NAD in advance of the workshop for a warm up week. We will also stick around for a few days after the workshop for more diving and photography. We will be on location starting from the 18th of July for a warm up session. This is a great opportunity for everyone to get into form before the workshop starts. We think its a great idea to arrive early in order to get over any potential jetlag, test equipment, and get your buoyancy back in order.
We find many people enjoy staying a few days after the workshop as well. This is a great way to relax and work on your photo skills with your new friends. This year we will stay at NAD a few days after the workshop is over. This is a great excuse to get in some more fun dives! You can continue to ask questions of the instructors on site during this time, but they will be diving with their cameras during the before and after periods.
Please let us know if you would like to arrive early or stay later and we can customize the dive and stay package for you.
