Bali Academy of Underwater Photography

We are proud to offer underwater photo courses through our “Bali Academy of Underwater Photography”. Our team of professionals have created a program suitable for all photographers. Our experienced instructors offer a variety of courses based on individual needs which range from one day to one week workshops.

All of our students are equally important to us and we guarantee you will experience top-notch photo instruction. What sets us apart from others is our desire to see YOU improve as quickly as possible. This means that we dive with each participant on a one on one basis with only a slate in hand.  We don’t take a camera with us while teaching because time underwater is about YOU!

Through our photo academy in Bali we offer one to one photo courses “on demand” dependent only on instructor availability.  We mainly teach our photo courses in the Tulamben area which offers the perfect mix of critter diving to work on macro techniques and the USAT Liberty shipwreck for wide angle opportunities.  Have a look at the Liberty Wreck on this video on our YouTube channel. This area offers the perfect chance to practice night diving photography with one of our dive guides once daily class work is finished.

On Demand Photo Courses for Groups

Combine A Photo Course With a Safari

One of our most popular offerings in Bali is a combination photo class and dive safari.  It consists of a 2 or 3 day class with our instructors followed by private guiding with our photography guides.  The best way to perfect photo techniques learned during a photo course is to dive at your own pace with no pressure from other divers.  Our professional critter spotters will not only find the best critters but also help with other techniques such as snooting.
